An odyssey to the moon
An innocent's spirit,
So quiet, but so loud
His youth has been crushed so soon.
A frolic through the stars
A short nap under the sun
A reckoning came,
Through the strings of the laws
Making her a life a pun.
A deception so severe
It caused such strife
Lonely were the tears
As they fell towards the knife
An artificial smile
Conjured out of spite
That swims with its denial
Is what blackened this night
Her pun is punishable
His life re-attachable
Their reason is warrantable
For their faith is formidable...
